Morocco

Morocco enjoys a varied climate, ranging from Mediterranean to desert. With over 300 days of sunshine per year and temperatures that can reach 19°C in winter in Marrakech, Morocco is a destination that can be explored all year round.

However, it is worth noting that in summer, the heat is hardly bearable in the central and southern parts of the country. In Marrakech, temperatures often exceed 40°C. To avoid these excessive heats, spring and autumn are therefore recommended.

The mountainous regions of the Atlas and the Rif offer an escape from the summer heat, with very pleasant hiking conditions in the summer. However, these mountainous regions should be avoided in winter, as it can be quite cold and snow is often present. There are ski resorts in the Atlas mountains, with Oukaïmden station located 80 km from Marrakech.
