This tailor-made trip reveals the full diversity of Madagascar, from the rice paddies of the Highlands to the beaches of Anakao. Along the way, you’ll explore Betsileo villages, lemur reserves, the mineral landscapes of Isalo Park and the peaceful shores of the South.

The experience is lived at the rhythm of the road, with the comfort of a private 4×4 and the kindness of a French-speaking driver-guide. The accommodations, chosen for their charm and atmosphere, combine authenticity and discreet elegance from waterside lodges and intimate guest houses to glamping tents in the heart of nature.

An itinerary designed for curious travellers who love nature, encounters and beautiful journeys.

Day 1 – Arrival in Tananarive

Welcome at the airport and transfer to your hotel. Settle in for the night in a comfortable hotel before heading for the Highlands the following day.

Day 2 – Antsirabe, the “Vichy of Madagascar

Drive to Antsirabe, a spa town with a peaceful atmosphere. Visit to Ambatolampy and its artisanal aluminum workshops. Overnight in a charming hotel.

Day 3 – Sahambavy, the tea valley

Head for Sahambavy and visit the country’s only tea plantation. Overnight at a lakeside boutique hotel.

Day 4 – Fianarantsoa, cultural heart of the Highlands

Discover the Upper Town and its old houses. Settle into a charming guest house and enjoy a convivial dinner.

Days 5 & 6 – Ambalavao and the Anja reserve

Visit to a Betsileo village, the zebu market and the Anja reserve, home to catta lemurs. Full-board accommodation in a typical lodge.

Days 7 & 8 – Isalo National Park

Hiking in the canyons and natural pools of Isalo Park. Two nights in comfortable glamping tents in the heart of the sandstone desert.

Day 9 – Tuléar, gateway to the South

A transitional stage by the ocean, in a peaceful lodge set between golden sand and lagoon.

Days 10 to 13 – Anakao beach holiday

Crossing by boat to a charming lodge overlooking the sea. Four days to relax, explore the seabed, sail in a pirogue or simply enjoy the silence.

Days 14 & 15 – Return to Tananarive

Domestic flight from Tuléar and last night in Tana. Free day before return flight.
