Day 1: Cairo
Welcome at the airport and transfer to your hotel. Evening at leisure to soak up the excitement of the Egyptian capital.
Day 2: Cairo – Pyramids of Giza, Saqqara and Dahshur
Explore the famous pyramids of Giza, discover the stepped pyramid of Saqqara and admire the red pyramid of Dahshur. At the end of the day, fly to Luxor and check into your hotel.
Day 3: Luxor – Valley of the Kings and Luxor Temple
Visit the Valley of the Kings, with the sumptuous tombs of Ramses VI and Seti I. End the day with a visit to the majestic Temple of Luxor, illuminated at sunset.
Day 4: Luxor – Hot-air balloon and Valley of the Craftsmen
Start the day with a hot-air balloon ride offering spectacular views of Hatshepsut temple. Continue with a visit to the Valley of the Artisans, Hatshepsut temple and the grandiose Karnak temple.
Days 5 to 7: Nile cruise
Embark on an intimate cruise on a traditional dahabiya. Enjoy moments of serenity as you observe life on the banks and visit iconic temples along the way (Edfu, Kom Ombo).
Day 8 and 9: Aswan
Discover the charming town of Aswan and visit the temple of Philae. Optional excursion to Abu Simbel (extra charge).
