Day 1 – Arrival in Entebbe
Departure with Brussels Airlines for a daytime flight, with a technical stopover in Bujumbura. Arrival in Entebbe around 10 pm. Transfer to your guesthouse near the airport. Day 2 – Ziwa Sanctuary
First drive by private vehicle to Ziwa Sanctuary, the only place in Uganda where you can see rhinos in their natural environment. Join experienced rangers on a hike to get up close and personal with these majestic creatures, a rare and unforgettable experience.
Day 3 – Murchison Falls
Drive to Murchison Falls National Park, where you can admire the legendary sources of the Nile and marvel at the majesty of Murchison Falls. In the afternoon, accompanied by a ranger, set off on an unforgettable safari between the vast savannahs and peaceful banks of the Nile.
Day 4 – Cruise and safari
This morning, your adventure begins on the water: embark on a cruise up to the foot of the impressive Murchison Falls, a unique opportunity to encounter hippos and crocodiles in their natural habitat. In the afternoon, relax by the pool or set off on another safari in the park.
Day 5 – To Queen Elizabeth Park
A long day’s drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park awaits you. Enjoy the comfort of your private vehicle as you relax and admire Uganda’s diverse landscape of mountains, valleys and picturesque villages. Day 6 – Chimpanzee trekking
Start the day with a trek into Kyambura Gorge to observe chimpanzees in their natural habitat. After this rewarding experience, enjoy lunch at the lodge, then embark on an afternoon cruise on the Kazinga Canal, famous for its abundant wildlife. Day 7 – Ishasha Safari
After a 3-hour drive through spectacular scenery, arrive in the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, famous for its tree-roosted lions. Day 8 – En route to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
After a hearty breakfast, head for Ruhija in the heart of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, famous for its mountain gorillas (5-hour drive). Check-in at the lodge and free time to relax. Day 9 – Gorilla encounter
Breakfast at the lodge before setting off on the gorilla trek. After a hike that can last up to 2-3 hours, you’ll spend a magical hour in their company. Return to the lodge for a well-deserved dinner and relaxation. Day 10 – Lake Mburo
After breakfast, depart for Lake Mburo by private transport (5-hour drive). On arrival, relax at the lodge’s swimming pool with its breathtaking views. In the evening, set off on a night safari where you can spot zebras, antelopes, hippos, and perhaps hyenas or leopards. Day 11 – Final safari and return flight
Morning safari in Lake Mburo Park, then lunch at the lodge before heading to Entebbe for your evening flight to Brussels.
