Description

Enjoy 9 days of adventure in Uganda, a country where nature is still wild and unspoiled. This trip will take you to meet inquisitive chimpanzees and mountain gorillas in their natural habitat, while discovering incredible landscapes. You’ll also explore Queen Elizabeth National Park, famous for its tree-living lions. An itinerary that combines tranquility, wildlife observation and the discovery of Uganda’s authentic beauty.

Day 1 – Arrival in Entebbe
Departure with Brussels Airlines for a daytime flight, with a technical stopover in Bujumbura. Arrival in Entebbe around 10 pm. Transfer to your guesthouse near the airport. Day 2 – Lake Mburo
After breakfast, departure for Lake Mburo by private transport (5-hour drive). On arrival, relax at the lodge’s swimming pool with its breathtaking views. In the evening, set off on a night safari where you can spot zebra, antelope, hippo, and perhaps hyena or leopard. Day 3 – En route to the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
After a hearty breakfast, head for Ruhija in the heart of the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, famous for its mountain gorillas (5-hour drive). Check-in at the lodge and free time to relax. Day 4 – Gorilla encounter
Breakfast at the lodge before setting off on the gorilla trek. After a 2-3 hour hike, you’ll spend a magical hour in their company. Return to the lodge for a well-deserved dinner and relaxation. Day 5 – Ishasha safari
After a 3-hour drive through spectacular scenery, you arrive in the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, famous for its tree-roosted lions. After lunch, game drive in this fascinating area. Dinner and overnight at the lodge. Day 6 – Cruise on the Kazinga Canal
2-hour drive to the Kaseni region. After lunch at the lodge, embark on an afternoon cruise on the Kazinga Canal, famous for its abundant wildlife. Return to the lodge for dinner. Day 7 – Chimpanzee trekking
Breakfast at the lodge, followed by a chimpanzee trek through the Kyambura Gorge. Lunch at the lodge and free time or optional safari at the end of the day. Dinner at the lodge.

Day 8 – Safari and return flight
Morning safari in the Kaseni reserve, then lunch at the lodge before a domestic flight back to Entebbe to catch your flight to Brussels.
